FOCUS OPEN 2025: Special Mention for arneclaussen.de
For me, good design and professional photography are not empty buzzwords or short-lived trends, but rather the basis for authentically showcasing brands, people, and moments.
In a visually fast-paced world, it is not just the individual motif that counts, but the interplay of visual language, typography, colors, and structure—visual communication as a whole.
I was therefore all the more delighted to receive the "Special Mention" award in the communication design category at the official award ceremony in Stuttgart on November 19, 2025, as part of the international FOCUS OPEN 2025 competition.
About the FOCUS OPEN AWARD
The competition is organized by the Design Center Baden-Württemberg (DCBW) – an institution that has been committed to establishing design as a strategic factor and understanding design as a driver of innovation for many years. They bring together design experts, companies, and researchers and recognize products and projects that go beyond pure aesthetics and impress with their functionality, sustainability, and communication. Thanks to its expert jury, clear evaluation criteria, and international participants, the award is a perfect seal of quality.

"A very well-structured website with a minimalist design approach. The restriction to two colors, yellow and black, creates a striking color contrast that nevertheless conveys visual calm and leaves plenty of space for the photographer's work."
These words capture exactly what I wanted to achieve with my website: a platform that presents photography, graphic design, and visual storytelling with clarity and calm. The goal: to show that someone here works with high standards, passion, and style.
