Germany's Top Model of the World
Barbara Arndt from Wernigerode was crowned "Top Model of the World Germany" in November 2024 during Fashion Week in Nuremberg. She previously held titles such as "Vice Top Model Germany 2024", "Mrs. Heide Model MGO 2024" (MGO-Miss Germany Organization) and "Heide Model 2023". With her current title, she will represent Germany at the international "Top Model of the World" competition in Egypt in spring 2025.
My contribution
Barbara and I created authentic and professional images for her portfolio.
The set was kept very minimalistic - targeted spots that emphasize the structure of the face and body. It wasn't about distraction, but about expression, emotion and depth. Barbara was to move freely and bring in her own style.
In the image processing, I worked with fine adjustments of contrasts, highlights and depths to give the images their characteristic look. The skin remained natural and the textures were emphasized.
The result - timeless, strong black and white images that not only look good, but also tell a story.
Barbara Arndt has exactly what it takes to be a real top model - self-confidence, class, humor and that certain lightness that makes her so special. Thank you Barbara for the great collaboration!
