Immerse yourself in the world of Mexico

LUZIA transports you to an imaginary Mexico with visual surprises, world-class artists and breathtaking acrobatic performances. A wonderful performance with Mexican sounds and many twists and turns. Graceful pole dancing, water as a source of inspiration, hoop art on the treadmill, acrobatics and lots of party atmosphere.

My contribution

In coordination with the artist Lea Toran Jenner and Cirque du Soleil, I was allowed to photograph a complete show in 2023. The pictures were later published on various channels by Cirque du Soleil.

A very exciting environment - every photographer knows the challenges that poor and changing lighting conditions bring with them. Event photography has its own special charm and as a photographer I have to adapt to the situation individually.
I used several lenses with fast fixed focal lengths and a medium format camera.

At the same time, many different artists were captured in motion during the show. All without flash and only with natural light (spotlight light).

This was followed by image selection, image editing and the final digital development of the images.
