Company birthday party
The then Managing Director Sybille Thierer celebrated her 60th birthday in 2021. This special event was celebrated with the workforce at the Teufelwerk in Nagold.
My contribution
Booked as an event photographer, I captured the key moments. As I wanted to avoid using flash, I worked with high ISO values and fast fixed focal lengths. I used a Fujifilm medium format camera and the fast Fujifilm XT-2, as well as various suitable Fuji lenses.
It was important to me to capture the emotions of the event. But also to capture the quiet moments on the sensor. An event thrives on lots of people and variety. This is where my gift as a quiet and attentive observer pays off.
A good photographer should also be able to react very spontaneously in such situations and pick up on people's sympathy. If this results in direct contact, this can be put to good use for a few spontaneous pictures.
The final image selection was made by the customer and made available for download.
