World-class circus arts

With a variety of talented artists demonstrating their skills in impressive acrobatics and juggling acts, as well as animal stars to amaze, the Heilbronn Christmas Circus offers a varied program. The festive music and the lovingly designed backdrop add to the special atmosphere and make the visit a highlight of the Advent season.

My contribution

In December 2024, I was able to photograph a complete show of the Heilbronn Christmas Circus. The pictures were later to be published on various channels by the organizer and the artists.

The challenges at such events fascinate me. Changing artists, different light shows, everything in motion and an incredible selection of exciting and funny moments. As an event photographer, you are constantly challenged here.

Several lenses with fast fixed focal lengths and a medium format camera were also used here to minimize image noise.

All pictures were taken without flash and only in natural light (spotlight light).

The final selection and editing of the images was done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
