Yasi Hofer - The guitar poet on the big stages
Yasi Hofer brings an incredible presence to each of her shows - since picking up the electric guitar at the age of twelve, she has developed into one of the best guitarists in the world. Trained in Ulm, Stuttgart and at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, she combines technical virtuosity with genuine passion.
Today she tours Europe with her award-winning Yasi Hofer Trio and plays live guitar for Helene Fischer and No Angels. She has also shared the stage with greats such as Steve Vai, Robbie Williams, Phil X (Bon Jovi), Roxx (Beyonce) and Pete Thorn (Mellisa Etheridge) - a musical cosmos full of power and joy of playing.
In her private life, Yasi remains likeable and genuine: down-to-earth, animal-loving and always curious about new musical paths. A musician who plays with soul and writes pictures without words - pure magic!
My contribution
From the very beginning, working with Yasi was exactly how you would want it to be: relaxed, open, warm - and with lots of good vibes. Yasi is not only an exceptional musician, but also a really likeable person. We had a lot of laughs and were able to work in a focused way at the same time - a perfect mix if you want to create something real together.
We started in the studio: a calm lighting mood and clear lines. The aim was to get to the heart of Yasi's presence with just a few means. Then we went out - with her Ibanez custom guitar through the streets of Herrenberg. Between old walls and soft light, images were created that show exactly what Yasi is all about: passion, character and a special closeness to the music.
